Michael Maier, 51, is leading the Fitbit Central Europe Organisation within Google and is responsible for 26 countries which are part of that region.
Michael is in the meantime 6 years with Fitbit, initially driving the D/A/CH- business until taking over the Eastern European countries as well to form the Central Europe cluster end of 2019.
Before his time with Fitbit, Michael was in various management positions within Electrolux, De’Longhi and LG.

I really love the format and the opportunity for being here. I’m a huge IFA fan and I think it’s really important to address the visitors in Berlin but I think in the meantime it’s also important to address people who cannot for whatever reason join us in person at IFA. So I think what IFA is doing is exactly right, taking into consideration that meeting people in real life is absolutely an important thing and I think that is the core DNA of IFA without any doubt, but I think on the other side you are also reacting to the new world where people do not want to travel, or people cannot meet because the pandemic is still around, it’s not done and dusted. So I think it’s a couple of things and because of that I really like this hybrid approach by IFA, it’s really cool
